I saw Nightbitch in October and it's too odd to be a mainstream hit. Amy Adams is great, but I think she'll be snubbed for an Oscar nomination again. Golden Globes are likely to nominate her.

Best Christmas Pageant has outside shot at the under 15 to beat Joker and would be the comical result I was looking for, but I think it's a little too far away from holiday season.

zwack predicted 57 and 54 for Mufasa and Sonic respectively, O predicted 71 and 50, so zwack probably takes this. Magic Mike is technically alive, but as he predicted 40 for Mufasa and Sonic for 38 he would need both that and to draw an inside straight on the smaller movies.

Mufasa ruined my chance but I'm still glad I managed to go from last to #2 at least before Mufasa throws me down the ranks.

Think it's all but guaranteed that zwackerm is taking this. Mufasa dropping to a $35M OW from a predecessor in 2019 that adjusts to a $234.7M OW is incredibly embarrassing. July yes vs week before Dec. but still horrendous diminishing of the storied Lion King IP.

zwacks tops off win with a victory lap. Technically I had September 5 on the list but O and I were only 1 million apart, so he secures 2nd. I found out I had accidentally not included Here in the total scores before, but it barely made a difference as everyone was sub 10 million. Rev had a tough round, but he did predict 20 million for Nosferatu.

I believe September 5 was in at most 7 theaters according to The Numbers during the month of December 2024. So it wasn't in wide release and shouldn't be in the list of movies for the competition.
The top 3 competitors separated themselves from the pack starting with Moana 2. I had read online rumors that Moana 2 wasn't as good as Moana 1 so I mistakenly didn't expect it to blow up during the Black Friday weekend. I thought once word came out from those who saw the movie on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) would be affected.
