Yes, the Ottoman Empire lost it in WWI, and the jews have their own claim of being even older OGs of that area, so the whole colonized thing seems weak to me.

Was this Hamas plan?
- Attack Israel in brutal way - Israel retaliates by destroying Gaza - Iran and the rest of the muslim countries start The Great Middle East War with Israel over it, destroys Israel.

Israel shows us the difference between special military operation and war. And deep inside even the most stupid ukronazi is thanking Putin for not taking that road. What would they say if someone asked Turkiye to give Istanbul back to the Byzantines? Yeah, your uncle Adolf said exactly the same.

Wouldn't Uncle Adolf be the opposite though? The Germans never had any right to that land, they took it because they could and made up some shit about their ancestors after. The same way that your Uncle Vladdy tried, and humiliatingly failed, to do over the past twoish years.

USSR got dissolved into independent states on conditions of mutual friendship, economic cooperation, open borders, guarantees of language, religious, cultural rights - all that secured by multiple general CIS and bilateral agreements between countries in the 1990s. Ukraine consistently fucked all that since mid-2000s. Baltic states and pre-2014 Ukraine show that Russian government(s) were fine with apartheid regimes and violations of Russians' rights as long as there's normal business. But Ukraine crossed even that line and then started wiping out Russian population. P.S. Vlad is not short form of Vladimir, but Vladislav. Russian names don't work like that.

Ukrainian officials and UN human rights office claim 10,000 civilian deaths in 1.5 years in Ukraine and EU and US call it "Putin's cruel war". Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics estimate civilian deaths from 2014 to Feb 24th 2022 to be over 10,000. Israel kills 10,000 Palestinians, including 4,000 children, in THREE WEEKS. No sanctions, no nothing. They say Israel has a right to defend itself from the existential threat. Western hypocrites.

Ukraine's "counter-offensive" collapsed with 125,000 people dead or missing and 16,000 items of tech lost, and some God-forgotten villages taken. Ukrainian politicians and opinion leaders started to blame the West. Arahamia, head of zelensky’s fraction in parliament and ukraine’s side in last year’s negotiations with Russia, blamed Boris Johnson, who arrived in Kiev and told them to “just go to war”. Ukraine’s 1+1 Channel “mistakenly” reported in the news ticker over 1.1 million killed and missing in action. For the second month in a row, Russia is gaining lands – mostly in the North near Kupyansk and East near Artemovsk, Avdeevka and Maryinka, two of the most heavily fortified areas and former suburbs of Donetsk. Novelties on the front. Russia started to use cluster bombs and munitions – since Joe Biden said it’s OK and not a war crime at all to use it against Russians. Su-24 airplanes got FAB-500 with gliding and correction modules, new black Geran drones debuted, first unmanned surface vehicles arrived at the Black Sea Fleet. Comrade Kim shipped a few trains of munitions (and successfully launched a military satellite, just a coincidence). Also, 200,000 drones were produced this year.

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
I'm really surprised no one here is discussing the ongoing genocide of Palestine. The actual, textbook methodical genocide - driving millions of people out of their homes, creating unlivable conditions, provoking hunger and epidemic, intentionally bombing civilians, killing women and children, murdering journalists and doctors, wiping out entire cities off the face of the Earth. They don't even try to hide it. And yet, no sanctions, no foreign reserve blocking, no war crime investigations, nothing.

With my position of both sides suck I think it's less appealing to follow for me than for the people that are actively pro Israel or Palestine.

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
The problem is that anyone to speaks out against Israel, even if it's very slight and not really even "anti-Israel" (like saying protecting innocent civilians on both sides), gets pretty huge blowback. And that's not right. It's perfect possible, and reasonable, to support Israel in defending itself when attacked as well as to hold them accountable for any war crimes they may commit.
Many are trying to make it a right or wrong, black or white, issue like they do everything these days.
Israel is held up on a pedestal and given largely unequivocal support from the U.S. due to their position in the region, their weapons and nukes to deter and defend/attack enemies in the region, and by the many Christians (Evangelicals that are generally conservative/Republicans) in the U.S. (that make up almost 2/3rds of the country, of which nearly half, or almost 100m, consider themselves Evangelicals) that support Israel due to its religious and prophetic meaning to them with Jesus' return at the end of times where the bloodiest battle in history is suppose to happen and is seen as inevitable, prophesied, and not something to be prevented.
So... the majority of politicians aren't going to criticize Israel much if they decide to, really just those in the most liberal/progressive districts or states, because getting elected is their #1 priority, regardless of circumstances.

Palestine gets less sympathy because they have proven that they would do the exact same thing if the roles of power were reversed. So we've hit a point where being pro-Israel means you don't think Palestine has a right to exist and being pro-Palestine means you don't think Israel has a right to exist.

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
That being said, I do really wish Israel had just conquered the Palestinian government without all this excess bombing of civilians. They're giving the terrorists exactly what they wanted. And if Palestinian civilians really did want to live peacefully then this would have been the perfect time to combine the two nations, all things considered. Yet now I fear Gaza will just become a battleground forever.

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
Why aren't Russia sanctioning Israel? Why aren't China? They can set the precedent! But no, as always the axis of evil remain self-centered. It can't always be the allies that police the world. And there's your answer; Israel aren't being sanctioned because they're doing the ugly business of trying to rid the world of one of the bad guys. It's as simple as that, so they get a pass by the good guys, and rightly so. And Russia/China won't sanction them because it would be fruitless. No country cares if minnows like Russia sanction them.

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
December update. Lancets – 63 this month, over 900 total. More night vision videos. Experts say this video proves AI: https://lostarmour.info/news/lancet_24_01_01_01_vdd98https://lostarmour.info/tags/lancetFPVs – over 3,000 unique videos in total. Record breaking 920 last month, up from 657 in November. Several telegram channels provide dozens of videos from different teams and various drone models on a daily basis. https://lostarmour.info/tags/fpvFABs with gliding and correction module – 55 videos last month, over 300 total. https://lostarmour.info/tags/umpkFor the third month in a row Russia is gaining land (over 100 sq km in 3 months, half of that in December) – in the North near Liman, East around Artemovsk and Avdeevka. Maryinka, the suburb of Donetsk, occupied by ukraine since 2014, was taken. About 10% of the area captured during the ill-fated ukrainian Summer offensive planned and sponsored by nato is already lost. New tech on the front: • Cruise missiles with heat/radar traps to deceive ukraine’s air defense. Now ukrainian/nato air defense missiles will be hitting even more apartment buildings • SU-34s are now able to drop 4 0.5-ton FABs at once as shown on several videos (used to be 2). Older airplanes are now able to use gliding bombs too. • New Lancet model with rotors is announced • Geran’ drones with new composite hull and reaction engine • More 1.5-ton air bombs and new 0.5-ton cluster bombs with correction modules • FPV drones with thermobaric munitions, 6-rotor FPVs with 2 shells, FPVs with night and heat vision Bradley has been taken intact – turned out to be a mass grave for infantry (50 of them have been already destroyed). No surprise for those who’ve seen or read Pentagon Wars. Now US fake news can’t mask ukraine’s losses as Russian losses, so we can all see nato tech burning, breaking, falling apart, drowning in the mud. Recent video shows HIMARS being hit by cluster munitions at 20 km from the frontline. Zelensky and Co announced mobilization of another 500,000 people (whatever happened to the previous 500K). Before that their politicians were saying they need 20K each month to keep it up (as in 20K dead and wounded per month). Ex attorney general Lutsenko says there’s 30K dead and heavy wounded per month, 500K dead so far. A new law has been proposed that will allow to mobilize women and disabled people (part of arm or leg missing, one eye, partly paralized, with dwarfism, etc). Here’s video of a person with Down syndrome in the Ukrainian trenches https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Ldug2O0i7Hg Evaders would be limited in property rights and state benefits (pensions, stipends, subsidies), bank cards would be turned off, passports and other docs not renewed, etc. All money transfers are now taxed 18%. Another law proposal involves paying certain income tax for getting 45-day break from mobilization – so that rich people wouldn’t die. Since ukraine is a model democracy, parliamentary and presidential elections have been cancelled. The nazi regime would also try to return people who ran away to Europe, cutting them off from docs registration, bank transfers, cancelling foreign passports. Ukrainian refugees are currently storming consulates and embassies across Europe, and others are lining up on Ukraine’s western borders.

North Korea is so funny. They're like little babies. When they get no attention they fire off a missile or something. So blatant. The latest is they pulled down a reunification statue and declared peace with the south as off the table. Yet still nobody cares. North Korea has nothing the world wants so they'll always be largely ignored, and their gestures will mean nothing

Re: International politics (China, Russia, UK, etc.)
One of their missiles will end up striking Japan by "mistake" one of these days and they'll be fucked as it'll activate the US/Japan security treaty. Their missiles already get close enough to set off Japan's emergency alert systems and have landed just over 150 miles away. (And Japan has been building their military alliances with NATO and Indo-Pacific countries too.)
That is assuming Trump or someone like him isn't in power when it happens. Trump has a strong admiration of Kim and North Korea (as well as Xi Jinping), as does a growing number of Republicans, so I'd be very iffy he'd honor the treaty.

Trump also doesn’t respect treaties he didn’t make himself and doesn’t care much for allies unless he benefits more than them. His only good thing in international politics is appeasing dictators
