LOL Daniel Craig wasn't even in the movie much and not only $469m but $100m each is a lot specially for Craig.

Seems far too much and a pretty wasteful way to spend almost half a billion dollars. I can't imagine this getting them too many new subscribers or convincing anyone thinking about leaving them to stay.

A sequel to Knives Out was already a little weird, and probably wouldn't have improved much on the first film (probably would have dropped instead). But a second sequel?

I don't see anyone being close to catching up to them yet. Yes Disney+ has a good amount of subscribers but they are not adding enough content which will eventually backfire.

This seems really ridiculous lol

Knives Out was a pretty good theater experience too. Idk Netflix releases just seem so uneventful but oh well.

Stupid but not surprising from Netflix.

The first was lightening in a bottle. Follow ups won’t have the same prestige. The amount they paid is ridiculous.

I read somewhere how these big splashy moves are not just to acquire the movie in question but to change the perception of feature films and the movie theater. The more blockbuster movies that appear on streaming platforms the more the public sees streaming as a viable substitute for ALL their consumption needs.

Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, and Janelle Monae are the first two be added. Great start!
