 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
5/5/20 - Venganza del quinto
1. Outer Banks (+1) 2. Dangerous Lies (-1) 3. Hollywood (=) 4. Never Have I Ever (+1) 5. All Day and A Night (-1) 6. Den of Thieves (+1) 7. Extraction (-1) 8. Arctic Dogs (movie, new) 9. The Last Kingdom (=) 10. Murder To Mercy (-2)
Outer Banks has already been on the charts for like over two weeks, that's some damn impressive legs. I am a little disappointed that Arrested Development wasn't able to take advantage of Cinco De Quatro for a reappearance. Also, Jerry Seinfeld has a new special today. Not sure if it will go #1, but Netflix spent a shit ton of money to bring his show over next year, and this seems like a good way to build hype for that. Plus, the nobody Irish comics all debuted in the 5-7 range during March so Jerry should be able to top them at least.
Movies:
1. Dangerous Lies 2. All Day and A Night 3. Den of Thieves 4. Extraction 5. Arctic Dogs 6. Murder To Mercy 7. The Half of It 8. The Willoughbys 9. Despicable Me 10. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
5/6/20 - Pandemic about Nothing 1. Outer Banks (=) 2. Hollywood (+1) 3. Arctic Dogs (+5) 4. Dangerous Lies (-1) 5. Never Have I Ever (-1) 6. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill (comedy, new) 7. All Day and A Night (-2) 8. Den of Thieves (-2) 9. Extraction (-2) 10. The Last Kingdom (-1) I guess there is a ceiling for stand-up comedy after all. Or will Jerry break trends and keep going up? No way to say. Movies: 1. Arctic Dogs 2. Dangerous Lies 3. All Day and A Night 4. Den of Thieves 5. Extraction 6. Murder To Mercy 7. The Half of It 8. The Willoughbys 9. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa 10. Despicable Me Arctic Dogs is already a bigger success on Netflix than it was in theaters.

Go Jerry and Michelle! Would be nice to see one of them hit #1 tomorrow before the Damian Chazelle show takes over.
Movies:
1. Becoming 2. Dangerous Lies 3. Arctic Dogs 4. All Day and A Night 5. Den of Thieves 6. Extraction 7. The Willoughbys 8. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa 9. Despicable Me 10. The Half of It

 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Michelle Obama has fans.
I still have to finish Den of Thieves. I saw the first 10 minutes of it a while ago.
The Eddy seems to be something I would watch. It is always nice to see something not defined in the confines of genres.

Den of Thieves is underrated. Hope it finds a solid audience on Netflix

5/8/20 - May the Eighth be Enough
1. Outer Banks (=) 2. Hollywood (=) 3. Becoming (+2) 4. Workin' Moms (+3) 5. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill (-2) 6. Never Have I Ever (-2) 7. Den of Thieves (+2) 8. Arctic Dogs (=) 9. Dangerous Lies (-3) 10. Ozark (return)
Will The Eddy debut at #1? I'm thinking yes, but the top 3 does seem pretty strong right now.
Movies:
1. Becoming 2. Den of Thieves 3. Arctic Dogs 4. Dangerous Lies 5. All Day and A Night 6. Extraction 7. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa 8. The Willoughbys 9. Despicable Me 10. Armed Response
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Wesley Snipes sighting.

 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
5/9/20 - May Be We're Already Dead
1. Dead To Me (series, debut) 2. Outer Banks (-1) 3. Hollywood (-1) 4. Workin' Moms (=) 5. Becoming (-2) 6. Sleepless (movie, new) 7. Never Have I Ever (-1) 8. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill (-3) 9. Den of Thieves (-2) 10. Too Hot To Handle (return)
Dead To Me scores big, but The Eddy didn't even place in the TV rankings. It did come out yesterday right?
Movies:
1. Becoming 2. Sleepless 3. Den of Thieves 4. Arctic Dogs 5. Dangerous Lies 6. Extraction 7. The Willoughbys 8. All Day and A Night 9. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa 10. Despicable Me
Extraction was dope. I wish I had watched it sooner to give it a shot at one more #1.

 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Can we get a do-over and just have Garland and Chazelle release 2020 films instead of series?

Shack wrote: Can we get a do-over and just have Garland and Chazelle release 2020 films instead of series? Agree. Devs would be much better off and doing TV kind of seems like a waste of these guys. There's plenty of great television producers, great filmmakers are a much rarer breed.

 Re: Netflix Daily Top Ten
Dead to Me was pretty big in its debut film what I remember so this wasn't a surprise though I thought it would open in Top 5 so a #1 opening is great. The series is pretty good.

It is not being promoted on the website. I had to use the left-right scrollers to find it under "TV Shows" or "Latest". It's the 21st item under "New TV Shows".

Very happy for Dead to Me, totally love it! Christina Applegate is a star and deserves Emmy consideration and Linda Cardellini is wonderful

5/10/20 - Plandemic United
1. Dead To Me (=) 2. Outer Banks (=) 3. Sleepless (+3) 4. Hollywood (-1) 5. Becoming (=) 6. Workin' Moms (-2) 7. Den of Thieves (+2) 8. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill (=) 9. Extraction (return) 10. Never Have I Ever (-3)
Rake is back baby! Second wave of word of mouth kicking in? The Eddy is once again nowhere to be seen. Floppity floppy flop.
Movies:
1.Sleepless 2. Becoming 3. Den of Thieves 4. Extraction 5. John Henry 6. Dangerous Lies 7. Arctic Dogs 8. The Willoughbys 9. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa 10. Despicable Me
Jamie Foxx is just all about winning. John Henry just has a picture of Terry Crews holding a sledgehammer, might have to check it out.
