And glad you like Season 2 of Owl House, Flava'd. Unfortunately it got cancelled by Disney for not "fitting their brand" and isn't getting a full Season 3. Instead, Season 3 will be three 45-minute specials to end the series. The first special aired a couple weeks ago, and the final two are planned for 2023.
Well that's some horse shit.

As for your Dragon question, there are alot of time skips in season 1, but I don't think there will be as many in future seasons. The big one where they change some of the main actors is jarring, and that episode is most people's least favorite of the season, but they settle in after that. D'arcy and Olivia Cook are so good in their roles that you don't even notice by the next episode.

40. Archer (FX, season 13) - 7.3

-The first season without Jessica Walters (and very limited Judy Greer) went off about as well as one could expect. It's not peak Archer, it hasn't been since the crazy coma years, but it's still a very entertaining show. Fabien was a nice antagonist for the ISIS team to unite against.

41. Los Espookys (HBO, season 2) - 7

-Not quite as funny as the first season, but still funny. The semi-supernatural comedy has terrific characters who are fun to to follow around through their nonsense. Can we get It: The Tati Version please?

(A-) - Lucifer (Season 6)
(A-) - Lucifer (Season 5)
(B+) - Lucifer (Season 4)
(B) - The Dragon Prince (Season 4)

Lucifer manages to get better as it goes, which was nice. Every season was a little better than the last. Not *quite* as good as I was expecting based on recommendations and such, but an enjoyable watch that ends on a high note.

The Dragon Prince's return after three years was good, but it's a season that spends almost all its time setting up for future seasons, which gave it a sort of "underwhelming" feel after the hiatus it was on. Hoping Season 5 is released next year.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 - A-

Harley's season structure is getting a little repetitive (An episode every year where they go into someone's brain, and the zombies on the loose felt a bit like last season's climax) but still had some good moments. I think I liked Only Murders season 2 more than the first one, as time goes on the side characters and little gags like Gut Milk really add up in a good way, the murder case evidence is all over the place but I think it's part of the joke that they're bad detectives who follow around red herrings and accidentally stumble into it by the end.

42. Blockbuster (netflix, season 1) - 6.5

-An easy to like show, but also easy to not pay attention to. I do hope it gets a chance to come into its own though. Do the right thing Netflix.

43. Primal (hbo, season 2) - 8.6

-Another great season of this prehistoric bromance between a man and a dinosaur. Very emotionally heavy too, just like the first season, as the world Spear and Fang travel through becomes even more unforgiving with the introduction of other humans. Spoiler alert - most of them are assholes (though a few are nice.)

Survivor Season 43 - A

I loved this season, I intentionally waited to binge this one after 42 didn't do it for me and it was a great decision, loved the amount of gameplay/strategy turns, fun first half of the show, and one of my biggest Survivor crushes ever made it to the end. The only downside is that the winner for third straight year was someone I had to talk myself into deserving it. It's clear that unless you're Tony you have to be slightly under the radar in terms of someone running the game instead of the #1 target, and then killing in terms of social relationships, and that's a little tricky to sell it on TV. Or they're just avoiding the winners edits more these days so people don't guess it.

See Season 3 - B+

A solid end to a show that while always a little bit flawed, considering the minuscule amount of interest online compared to ones like House of the Dragon and Rings of Power, is overall underrated. The bombs made for cool set pieces the last few episodes and they did the right thing ending it with the kids storyline rather than Baba. I'll be interested to see if Hera Hilmar takes some more American roles since she did great as Maghra.

My final shows of 2022 were:

44. The Sex Life of College Girls season 1 - 8/10 - very funny

45. Our Universe season 1 - 8.3/10 - I would have rather had David Attenborough, but Morgan Freeman is also a great narrator for these type of shows. The visuals, both real animals and cgi space stuff are incredible. Also very informative about the formation of the universe!

46. Wednesday season 1 - 8/10 - :emo:

Strong way to end the year!

Mythic Quest Season 3 - B

Despite realizing their best character is Jo this season felt a little flat to me, F Murray was perhaps missed. It did have some nice Ian and Poppy platonic relationship stuff though.
