Just saw there was no thread dedicated to this amazing show (just a couple focused on particular seasons if a Mod wants to merge them?). Really bummed this got cancelled after 17 years. It really is perhaps the best animated show on TV right now and over the past twenty years, especially with Ricks and Marty starting to go downhill and BoJack Horseman started feeling redundant after the first few seasons. But I am glad it is getting a proper send off to wrap everything up, and who knows, mayhaps it will get a new audience with streaming as it really works better in that format considering how it is serial based. Who else here watches this great show? |

Love Ventures, and the most recent seasons were really good. HBO Max needs content so I'm sure we haven't seen the end of this show. |

I’m inclined to agree, especially considering the format of the show works so much better when it is binged as opposed to waiting a week for a new episode, especially with the last few seasons |

Finally watched it and thought it was great! Wraps up most of the plotlines though it also could easily just go back to being a normal series if the numbers are good enough. My favorite season is easily six. Favorite episode is a tie between All That + Gargantua Two and I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. One of the greatest series ever and it still holds up perfectly. Even better than most from the era really since the Venture tech is pretty consistent with what we have now. It's too bad the show never really caught on, but there's always a chance it will in the future. I'm happy with what we got if this is the end. |

Venture Bros is a masterpiece that lurks under the surface waiting to rewards those who take the dive. It takes a moment to come into view, but if you wait just long enough you will find the treasure that is this show. The finale was obviously meant to be a full season and for that it did disappoint me, but not enough to detract from the show as the story on its surface was good, just that the execution was clearly rushed. |
