The first episode is probably still my favorite, but the 5th episode has the best balance of sitcom, superhero and plot advancement.

Agatha All Along is probably the best piece of tv in years.

Definitely the best moment of the show, agreed.

I did not love the reveal as much because it wasn't handled very well and felt rushed and oddly paced also with the casting it was pretty obvious that Hahn was the villain from the beginning. The overall series is enjoyable but I wouldn't call it the best thing on TV right now. It's good popcorn like MCU movies but there are better stuffs out there specially in this age.

I like Wandavision a little more than The Mandalorian and a little less than Harley Quinn. It’s a good place to be.

The first two, Malcom and Office episodes are my favorites.

I wouldn't put it anywhere close to The Mandalorian, but its still a very enjoyable show regardless and something very different from Marvel which is what I appreciate about it the most.

The Mandalorian > WandaVision

I believe Harley Quinn is slightly better than both.

I fell asleep during the first three episodes of Mandalorian and dropped it.

This is massively better.

So it wasn’t Agatha All Along.

Rough life for Wanda. Even when retconned to fit in with all the new properties they own.

Also, fuck SWORD. How are they allowed to be a thing after what happened with SHIELD?

Bitch am I allow d to call WandaVision the best thing ever created by marvel?

This is easily the darkest story ever told by marvel. I am shook by it, the way they connected everything. The sitcoms, pietro, mutants!!! And chaos magic is godly. I need next week's finale RIGHT NOW

Yeah this is an actual show, Mandalorian is a live action cartoon.

So at the end there, SWORD has control of the real Vision, while the one Wanda controls she actually created herself with the chaos magic.

Wish there had been more forward plot movement in this episode but the backstory was all very well done regardless. Hopefully next week is longer.

This episode was super exposition heavy, but I still loved it. Olsen is just next level amazing in this show and they gave Wanda more depth in one episode than they did in the entire MCU.

I still get the feeling though that alot of people are not going to be satisfied by that finale if it doesn't live up to their expectations and honestly I don't see how they wrap so much up in just one more episode.

Maybe if it was 10 instead of 9 episodes it would feel less rushed, but I've been enjoying this show enough the whole time and can't wait for that finale to get here.

Post Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
Olsen is really great in this but I found episode 8 really frustrating. The villain swings have started to give me a whiplash and it feels like they are just toying around while tossing up emotions. I clearly understand why this was decided to go weekly release route because binge watching this series specially with last two episodes will not work at all IMO.

As for the episode itself it was good and while we get to know a lot more about Wanda its still a lot of cookie cutter episode because we pretty much knew these set of events which were visually detailed in a 45 minute episode. Olsen easily shines in this but for a series called WandaVision, Vision nothing to do in last 3 episodes (how long does it take to fly back?)

Post Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
I think we learned that Wanda Vision is a more literal title than anticipated. :hahaha:

What happens when Wanda Vision fights SWORD Vision? Is it like Age of Ultron? Can Wanda merge the mind of her creation into a real body? The kids will need a pair of those real bodies too. The way this show has gone makes it seem like both will perish, with The Scarlett Witch going on to join Dr. Strange’s crew, but I think that’d be too predictable for this show. We need some wild shit to send us out on a high.

Also, if season 2 is called The Scarlett Witch then it can compete for the comedy emmys while not making Kevin Feige a liar about Wanda Vision only lasting one season. :shades:

I think the biggest thing will be if they planned this to lead into Dr. Strange, a lot will be unanswered and that movie will be over a year away. Maybe they are planning to do a truncated season 2 to lead in better. Also did the guy from Sword say Wanda stole Vision in an earlier episode? So there have been a lot of previous moments in earlier episodes that were just fake outs. There is no way this wraps up in any satisfying way next week.

I mean, Disney plus keeps crashing at 2-3AM when the episodes are uploaded. They'd be fools not to do a second season

I hadn’t thought about this. If everything had stayed on schedule then it would only be about two months until Multiverse of Madness opened. Would have been much easier to leave a bunch of unanswered questions. Black Widow is probably not going to help with that.

Also, gotta wonder if Falcon + Winter Soldier is gonna be a little overlooked now compared to if it had been the first Marvel show. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it, but seeing the super weird side of Marvel on D+ has me a lot more hyped for Loki.

Also, how does this not make Wanda the most powerful being in all of the MCU yet? It was obvious when she kicked Thanos' ass without breaking a sweat.

But how are they gonna go around the fact they have a superhero that can rewrite reality to her will?
