Vince Gilligan's next show (said to be something Twilight Zone-y and not at all like the Breaking Bad universe) to go on AppleTV and star Rhea Seehorn. Interview With the Vampire on AMC has a pretty impressive 85 on metacritic with 6 reviews |

The Sandman not getting renewed yet makes no sense. It's 15 million an episode yeah, but other shows that did similar viewership cost around the same amount |

Hard to tell what that would translate to theatrically but given how well the re-release did Oct. 2020 almost certainly would have pulled an Austin Powers 2 and out opened the original's total run of $39.5M. Probably also would have resonated more with family audiences than Lyle and would play as a Halloween + family film so could have pulled $150M though we'll never know... |

Well I don't think anyone ever could have predicted that. Comes across as a April Fool's joke on the headline. It was a dream role for Cavill. The Witcher does kinda suck though, so this doesn't impact anything important atleast. |

The Sandman season 2 finally greenlit. Bizarre it took so long. It's not Dahmer, Squid Game or Stranger Things, but it did numbers on par with equally expensive The Witcher and Umbrella Academy |

Bezos is in big market baseball team mode and wants every IP that can be turned into a good visual effects ok writing show possible. Surely the only reason they haven't made a move on Zelda is Nintendo hasn't let them. |

Does Peacock have their first buzz worthy show? Mystery of the week show Poker Face, created by Rian Johnson, starring Natasha Lyonne, with 86 on metacritic right now. At the very least, streaming has been overdue to revive the case of the week detective genre but actually trying unlike the network procedurals, so maybe this can at least inspire some copycats on better services. It looks like he made it a "how catch em" instead of "whodunnit" meaning the killer is shown to audience at the start of every episode and then she has to figure it out, this is a nice way to differentiate from the procedural stink. |

Hulu resurrecting all the old Fox properties. Hopefully Whedon gets uncancelled so we can finally get more Firefly. Apatow might be into bringing back Undeclared or Freaks n Geeks too since The Bubble was so universally loathed. |

I'm picturing an Amazon Harry Potter series with its showing off visual effects focus, mediocre writing and overall redundant retelling of the series - Nobody needs that. |
