This epic fantasy series, adapted from the novel by Neil Gaiman and featuring, among many others, Emily Browning, Crispin Glover, Orlando Jones, and Ian McShane, debuted last night on Starz. The series is created by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Hannibal) and Michael Green, co-writer of Logan and Blade Runner 2049.

The book is pretty darn good, though I prefer Neverwhere. I'm pretty hyped for this.

I really dig this show. A rare shoddy (or better said just slightly too obvious) CGI effect here or there does not take away from the fact this show awesome visually. And I like the slow reveal of the whole thing (despite the fact you can pretty much tell who's who even though some characters have not been named properly). Pure joy to watch.

I cannot agree. Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies were great shows. Wonderfalls was meh though and I never bothered with Hannibal as it looked boring AF. AG so far is really good.

EDIT: Especially since Zack Snyder is a hack even when it comes to visual stuff. He can only copy previously existing visual material. He literally can't create a single thing.

Oops, I deleted my post since I decided I don't like coming into other people's shows and ragging it, but basically I said I don't like Bryan Fuller and think he's like Zack Snyder of TV (visual overload, lacking substance) and Hannibal was one of the worst shows I ever watched

I really dig this. It's stylish as fuck and it's somewhat slow, but it keeps unraveling all the time, there's no filler whatsoever so far. This shows deserves more buzz.

Wow, I loved "A Prayer for Mad Sweeney." Such an elegant, stylish, moving hour of television. I love this series' "slow" pace and the space it allows for almost short stories.

I'm two episodes in and ... meh? I feel like the show is so overstylzed that it undercuts the dramatic narrartive. Its like a mix between Sparticus and The Strain. Here's hoping it gets better. I really like the actor who plays Shadow atleast, and Ian McShane is great as always.
