Here's hoping The Office's big Emmy win on Sunday will not be the last for the series.

I loved the Jim/Pam commercial during the Emmys.
Not gonna lie.

13 more days!
The season premiere is named "Gay Witch Hunt." That's gonna be awesome.
And this season is going to be 25 episodes long. Booyah!

AWESOME. 25 episodes. Total of 53 episodes over three seasons.

That's kind of funny. Arrested Development had 53 episodes over it's first, and only, three seasons.
Barring some horrible horrible event though, the Office will make it to season 4, as I don't see why its ratings would drastically go down and it just won for Best Comedy. You can't cancel a show that just won best comedy, it has at least one more season in it.

I wonder if Jim is really going to leave, and one of the new cast members is the replacement for him. (Obviously, he won't stay gone.)

So apparently at Best Buy you can buy a "severance package" with seasons 1 and 2 along with a bunch of goodies. This shows everything that is in the severance package. I wish I had known about this before preordering from Amazon.

There's something else you should know. The actress who plays Pam did some video diaries behind the scenes during a few episodes like Booze Cruise and they are about 15 minutes or so in length total she estimates and are only in the ones sold by Target, not in any other ones.
I don't think I'm going to order either set for me. Probably just netflix them for the commentaries.

What? You do realize this means I'm going ot end up with three copies. Thank god for that raise that is being spent exclusively on dvds.

Nobody read the NY Times article about the creator of The Office. In it he effortlessly, almost unitentionally gave away what happens to Pam and Jim. Being the terrible, horrible person I am, I peaked.

Yeah I read that too, but it was pretty much what I expected though except for one part, which I don't think is going to go down well. I don't feel spoiled though.
Also, with the reports that they have a promotional tie-in agreement with Cingular that results in Michael Scott using their products and some main characters texting a lot this season, it kind of reeks of sell out. I just find that annoying they'd do that to this show, do that stuff to according to jim or some show like that.
I hope that last paragraph doesn't bother anyone, it doesn't seem to affect main plot dynamics, I'm just griping about too much commercialization. Hell commercials already eat up 9 minutes of airtime each half hour.

Hey, I trust them to manage to do the sell out thing as brilliantly as Arrested Development did.

I've known all summer that thing that Kristin from E! said, but other than that, I want to wait until Thursday.

I got disk 1 and 2 through netflix and watched the commentaries and deleted scenes. Bottom line is well worth it, the descriptions by the cast are fun and there's a lot of deleted scenes, like 10 or more minutes for each, each one watchable.
It was also interesting how they were mad at themselves for writing Amy Adams out of the series and then a week later she gets an oscar nomination and they belatedly realized what they had and wished they hadn't let her go.
