Still shocked at how well Housewives keeps doing. Is this the week (or next week, more-rather) when it finally goes down a bit? CSI must be shaking in its boots... if CSI were an actual person.

I don't think it's on this week, so yea, it'll go down, lol. I think something special happend last night, like someone was killed or injured. I do think it'll go down when it returns, but I said that this week, so who knows.

Yes, someone was knocked off on Desperate Housewives. However, I'm not sure ratings will go down. I mean, obviously, they can't keep going up forever, but the fact that it had its highest ever-ratings in late November (especially for a serialized show like this) is astounding.

Both DH and CSI had their highest ever ratings in November. (CSI just 2 weeks ago). It is good since it is (or was) sweeps. Anyone know when they ended?
Yeah, but CSI's can be attributed to the fact that it was its 100th episode.

I don't think Desperate Housewives will go up again in 2 weeks like it did this week.... but it won't go down either.... If this week's was truly a 27 million audience... the next episode will probably be around 26 million.
I expect it to get to HIGH 20's and hit 30 a couple of times before the season is out. Just imagine the ratings and the cliffhanger for this season's finale. then... imagine the ratings and the ad campaign for season 2 opener

This show is so big, I can already smell that New DVD Smell, as I rip open the Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season box set, this September.

That's so weird, because I know I didn't write that.

Darn moderating powers!!
Yea, that was their 100th episode, but I think it's good that they both reached "milestones" during sweeps.
