Umm no. He's from Family Guy, the second best animated tv series ever.

While Archie Bunker was a great character, I don't think he should be in the top 10. Homer Simpson definently deserves to be in the top 10. George Jefferson was one of my favorite characters, as well.

I am guessing that Simpsons is 1 and for me I have never watched Family Guy but South Park is #2 for me.

Pretty nice list. I'm happy to see Kirk up there and I'm also happy to see Fred Sanford in the top 40. He's one of the greatest characters ever.

Goldie wrote: Bump - list has been completed and I can't complain about the #1 - Archie Bunker. If you ever saw one of the episodes where he had a fight / discussion with Meathead / Mike Stivic / the son - in - law, you would understand, they were classic.
In ending, Archie Bunker and All in the Family changed television.
meh, I would have put someone else at number 1, but can;t relaly complain about Archie Bunker.

I don't like any of the top 4.
I forgot about Jim Rockford, he should have been higher.
