Huge for Desperate Housewives. I'm not sure, but I think those may be its highest ratings yet.
Not great for Arrested Development, but it's an improvement, nonetheless.

Yep, those are the highest ratings for Desperate Housewives. 24+ Million viewers, that's quite huge and should be enough for it to occupy the #2 spot for the week. I hope it manages to topple a new episode of CSI at least once this season.

At the rate it's going, it might do that pretty soon.

Keep in mind that's a fairly hefty improvement over the ratings it was getting last season.

True. It's still rather discouraging, though, to see it failing to fully retain The Simpsons' audience (that audience probably being the exact demographic Arrested appeals to).

I'm sure Arrested Development is a littttttttle too smart for at least part of the audience watching The Simpsons

Unexpectedly good for King of the Hill, very close to The Simpsons ratings at the 7pm hour. Malcolm, on the other hand, is failing miserably at 7:30pm, dropping off from Kiing of the Hill significantly. A show just a few years ago seemed to be the future of Fox is now just tired, much more so than either The Simpsons or King of the Hill. It should be put out of its misery.

King of the Hill only did that well because football was on right before it. If it didn't have football cushioning it, its ratings would probably be below Malcolm's.
