Re: Alias fans rejoice! Spy series teaming with Lost!
Seems like a good slot - Wednesday at 9, I guess or before CSI:NY. Anyway, isn't this where they guessed it would land. And aren't they suppose to have, with this midseason airing, almost consectutive airings til the end.
Also. It has been so long. Anyone want to recap where Alias left off. I only remember bits and pieces.

Only problem: This means it has to go up against the American Idol results show (#3 last year in total viewers and #2 in 18-49ers), Which is moving up a half-hour.
But this is still the first half-decent lead-in for the show. (The Wonderful World of Disney? 10-8? Extreme Makeover: Home Edition?)

Well, to be fair to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it now ranks in at least the top 20 every single week, which is impressive for a spin-off of a show that is barely seen by anyone.

CSI: NY and Wife Swap prove that there was an audience against Law and Order. Without a Trace fights against ER. I think Alias could do decently against Idol.

I don't mean ratings-wise, I mean audience-wise. TWWOD and EM:HE are family-targeted shows, and 10-8 was a cop dramedy. A good example comes from the show Alias is replacing: The Bachlor. Lost is the biggest lead-in for the show ever, yet it's experiencing record-low ratings.

Reality is a dying breed. FINALLY. Remember the game show trend a few years ago? Reality is ten times worse, so it took longer for the poison to die. Now, people are realizing the only good reality shows are the ones getting good numbers (Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, American Idol).

Alias is a two hour premiere on the 5th, and paired with Lost, that's 3 hours.

I'm really starting to get into Lost but I won't be tuning into Alias. Never really liked the show.

Cool cool, Rusty. We can't all like the same shows. Lost is pretty good, though. You should really try and catch the two hour premiere. One of the best pilots ever.

During desperate Housewives they gave the commercial for ALIAS new season!!!
It was a whole bunch of clips from previous seasons and some of the new season, most notably sydney telling vaughn they need to take it slow, then cutting to them in bed!
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
