Buffy is in my top 5 favorite series ever, without Joss the sequel series will suck, whedon is one of those writers that you really cant replicate, like Tarantino he has his own style.

Plus, nobody wants to see a supporting Buffy.

Joss probably deserves to have burnt his bridges but it's a shame content wise.

I think Joss can comeback, it's not like he did something criminal like Harvey Weinstein.
He was a real asshole on set and was banging Eliza Dushku in a consensual affair while he was married. I've read much worse from others who are still in the business.

Im sad for Sarah Michelle Gellar who i like as an actress, everything she has done since the grudge has bombed.
I think i read she was offered the role of Cameron Diaz in Gangs of new york but turned it down because her husband asked her to do Scooby Doo with him for more money.

I think Alyson Hannigan likes Whedon so I guess he could make a Willow show.

Post Re: The TV news thread - HP on HBO, GOT prequel
It's a complete retcon to pretend Joss was some raging monster on his sets, as that's just not at all true. There are many cast members from all Whedon's shows, BtVS included (like the aforementioned Alyson Hannigan & her husband, Alexis Denisof, who played Wesley), who had a good time on his various set and would happily work with him again. A number of people who were series regulars on BtVS and Angel have said that it was news to them anyone was having a horrible time, so this wasn't some hellish work environment for all that people dreaded.

A few people didn't like their experience, which is fair enough, but so what? That's true of just about every workplace everywhere. There are so many writers, directors, actors, and all kinds of other entertainment industry professionals who have transgressed more severely than Whedon (who, again, has done nothing deserving this kind of overreaction) yet continue to work, so what's up with that?

Ostracizing him for years is ridiculous, but Hollywood is full of hollow hypocrites who go whichever way the wind blows that day.

He is nearly 80 and it would take them like 15 years to make 7 seasons of this with how slow big budget streaming shows are.

This is official though he referenced being 87 by the end (guess it makes sense they’d try every year filming with kids ages)

The Harry Potter show is gonna make Star Wars fans look like reasonable people. The toxic discourse will outshadow anything the show does right.

It is caught in no man's land, the Rowling involvement means it will be radioactive to support for left wingers, while the worst race swap of all time puts it behind the 8 ball for right wingers.

It really is amazing that Hollywood insists on race and gender swaps when the public clearly doesn’t want it.

At least Disney course corrected from casting Mika Kunis as the Thing. But they just couldn’t help themselves with the Silver surfer.

James and Sirius will be committing a hate crime in the Order of the Phoenix flashback scene now. New viewers will be like "maybe he deserved it" and choose Bellatrix as their favorite lol.

*Hogwarts has a deadly mystery*

Harry says "I bet our one black teacher is the one who is up to no good. Just something about him makes me suspicious."
