Sitcoms having a rough go of it. Two of the top five shows ending in two months, two more probably closer to their ending than their beginning (The Conners, The Neighborhood).

I find the new sitcom quality the last few years decent as I watch every episode of Ghosts and Night Court, and Abbott while not really my thing is still respectable I guess. It disgusts me though that they have literally 0 dramas that's going for a This Is Us/A Million Little Things/Brothers and Sisters/etc. type audience. It has to ALL be procedurals, huh.

Young Sheldon with the big rating for a scripted show (which Survivor does on an average week)

HOTD down 22% from season 1 premiere though I believe still posting a really big number compared to other shows.

Meanwhile NXT (0.22) is creeping close to AEW Dynamite (0.23) again. Last week was 0.28 to 0.22, but the week before that was 0.25 to 0.24.

NXT won 0.26 to 0.16 this week! I think Juneteenth was bad for it.

This week Dynamite had 0.22 to NXT's 0.18

House of the Dragon's ratings so far: 0.44, 0.37, 0.27. (Season 1 average: 0.44)

Felt like a bigger deal two years ago to me.

New shows so far

Matlock with Kathy Bates - 0.44. Would be a hit if it continued.

Doctor Odyssey - A doctor... on a cruise ship, with Joshua Jackson. 0.40 after 9-1-1, pretty good.

High Potential - Case of the week with Kaitlin Olsen (Sweet Dee) as secret genius janitor mom - 0.35 but with good lead in with Dancing with the Stars. Moderate.

Rescue Hi-Surf - Looks like a Baywatch thing on naturally, Fox. 0.20 after 9-1-1 Lone Star. Seems like cancellation.

Brilliant Minds - Autistic doctor show with Zachary Quinto, 0.29 dropping off quite a bit after the Voice.

The Golden Bachelorette not doing as good as the male version. Surprise as I thought an old lady choosing between a bunch of rich guys on their 2nd/3rd wife sounded like the ideal version of this.

WWE NXT went to CW and got a 0.26 which is like 10x bigger than their normal shows, and beat AEW.

Grey's tied lowest scripted rating of its night with .23 after Doctor Odyssey .37. It's over.
