One Piece is going through a rough patch. I mean it's still great at this point but from it's past lofty standards these numbers could have been better. I was hoping as we come close to final arc the interest will propel the manga sales to 1m opening week, but that looks very difficult in 2024.

The Apothecary Diaries - Maomao no Koukyuu Nazotoki Techou

The JOJOLands, Space Brothers and The Dangers in My Heart are only there because of the luck of their release schedule. Last year they did not reach 100k in a single week, this year they did. They did not especially grow in 2024.
However, The Apothecary Diaries - Maomao no Koukyuu Nazotoki Techou did. But it still required the full strength of the anime boost and a lot of days in the first week to reach 100k in a week.

Last year gave us [Oshi no Ko], this year didn't really have any new 100k+ seller. The biggest increases of the year already sold over 100k in a week before (The Apothecary Diaries, Frieren, Kaiju No. 8, etc).

For next year, maybe Dandadan, Blue Box or Sakamoto Days will grow enough to reach that list.
