I have to say, Haikyu!! is really impressive. The series ended in 2020, and it hasn't had an anime since 2020 either. It's been almost two years (22 months) of no content and it's still selling quite well. Demon Slayer is at least understandable (and still impressive, of course) since it was (or is) so huge and had an anime run from late 2021 through early 2022.

Four series over 10 million is impressive in any year, although there's a huge difference compared to the manga boon of 2020/2021. Those two years were quite something indeed.

Strong year for Spy x Family. The second cour doesn't seem, at least to me, to be getting as much attention as the first cour, so I wonder how that'll impact it moving forward.

Nice to see One Piece getting back over 10 million. Best year for it since 2017.

MHA remaining as stable as ever. It never *quite* took off to what I'd call "breakout" status (2021 being the only year it broke 7 million), but any series would hope to do 5/6 million every year since 2016. It's ending either next year or in 2024 it seems, right? (No spoilers, please! I'm about 3 volumes behind.)

2023 seems kind of unpredictable, doesn't it? Nothing strikes me as a safe 10 million series. I suppose CSM might have the momentum to get there, but could be wrong. Might come down to JJK or OP aiming for ~8-10m?

Also, MHA, JJK, and OP all look to be ending in the next few years. Going to be tough to replace those, OP in particular which has always been reliably there for WSJ and Shueisha when other big series come and go.
