People change predictions with new trailers and when new information is released.

It has nothing to do with the trailer itself in terms of how effective a marketing tool it is. It all has to do with the genre. To top titanic the film has to be a very specific genre with a very specific market. this film is the 1st since titanic itself to meet both, from what I can tell, and whether it tops titanic in the us or not, i think this wil be a HUGE HUGE HUGE MASSIVE break out.

I think that's been proven not to make sense. :P More demographics always help. Titanic has one central one, but the rest also made a big difference.

Exactly why it was set not to earn much. ;)

And that's fine - no one's holding you to your predictions unless you brag about it when you get one right. Everyone gets some good calls and some awful calls, but that doesn't mean you can start a thread and be like, "I was right about Prince Caspian, thus I will be right about Punisher: War Zone."

Depends. Clubs with bigger balls earn the predictor more points if they come true imo

The predictions don't really prove it. I think what matters is the ability to prove ideas through predictions. Excel might make bold predictions, and some of them might be right, but I don't see high tying together the different patterns and factors.

Yeah, but create a picture for us based on your gut them. That way it can be more interesting. ;)

What's the fun in just predicting for the sake of predicting?

My gut has me predict big on films whose concepts sound like theyll be easily marketed as an event style movie, whether people think they will or not (or the opposite on fimls people think will be big).

That's not a picture, that's a description.
