- ballet (because seriously: FUCK. THAT. SHIT.)

Yeah, and there are "charity" fronts by Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan. What's your point?

Hell, Dick Cheney and Barbara Bush support gay marriage. Dick is still Dick and Babs still thinks the Astrodome's a big party.

I'm not sure why you think I think they should be "stopped" either. One can be morally vile within the confines of the law. Even then, the EPA is so declawed...and it seems people with power in this country think the rules don't apply to them anyway, and a lot of the time, they aren't that far off. They also are simply one of many people of similar ilk. No, I don't believe in a cabal. I do think people with enormous amounts of power and resources should be looked at with suspicion because they so often seem to abuse it. Shocker. Doesn't mean I want them fed to the Kraken and I want us all to live in a commune.

I don't know. I know it is still very much alive today, usually because top figures want to have a good public image, at least that is what we are taught in business school.
