It is amazing the skill that both the pundits and politicians have in killing copious amounts of time with superfluous paragraphs. You can edit an hour of Countdown or Hardball down to about 60-90 secs, and not miss anything.

Re: 2010 Election
I voted for Tim Kaine (the alternative was unacceptable), but he is a wothless empty suit. The Democratic party can not afford to allow him to do anything ever again on the national stage.

Re: 2010 Election
How many times does McCain have to be elected for god sakes. Thank god he's on his last leg.
Exit polls showing Angle 1% behind. I'll sacrifice a cat right now if it would guarantee Reid's defeat.
I'm hoping Tancredo wins Gov and Patty Murray gets ousted.

Bush, and Ben Quayle run as insurgents. The cliche attributed to P.T. Barnum of a sucker born every minute is obviously a gross underestimate.

I can't stand Michell Bachmann, but she is pretty hot for a 54 y.o. woman. I am sure she has had a face lift.
ION-I think I just sharted. However, I am so comfortable at the moment, that I am not going to verify my theory.
I am running out of alcohol, somebody is going to have to go to 7-11 and get me some more booze. I am not picky, Mad Dog, beer, cough syrup, whatever...

Re: 2010 Election
Ok, Lawerence O'Donnell just redeemed himself slightly with the pointlessness of asking an android like Eric Cantor to come back to MSNBC to continue to not answer questions. I am upgrading him to a middle management D-bag.

Feingold got crushed. It could end up closer, but MSNBC called it for Johnson.

Yup, I've got MSNBC on too. Not sure if CNN's confirming it, but that's a (relatively minor -- for tonight) blow.

Re: 2010 Election
The PA and IL races are super close. Dems are trailing, but still have favorable counties left to be fully counted.

Re: 2010 Election
Doug Wilder just showed up on MSNBC and showed his bonafides as a moderate/centrist "good" Democrat. He was a decent governor, but he constantly sandbagged Mary Sue Terry, Chuck Robb, and other Virginia Democrats throughout his career. So, I still have ambivalent feelings toward him.
Whenever some liberal wanker like Markos Moulitsas champions some VA. Democrat like Warner, Kaine or Webb, remember that Democrats in VA are beating awful Republican candidates. This is probably way too antideluvian for anyone on this forum to understand but it is akin to going to a rock concert in a small town in the mid 1970s. Your town is such a boondock that you only get two major acts that come through your town a year. One is the Osmonds and the other is Black Oak Arkansas. B.O.A sucks but at least they are a rock band, so you go to B.O.A over the Osmonds. That is how incompetent mediocre Dems win statewide elections. They are not ready for national Prime Time.

Re: 2010 Election
Ok L.O. got back on my worthless list. Jerry Brown is running against an incredibly incompetent statewide candidate that went from one scandal to another and was afraid to talk to the press. Johnson ran a great campaign in Wisconsin. Brown is perhaps the best candidate in the country in getting the most out of money on hand, that is why I supported him over Clinton in 1992. Just absolute drivel coming out of Lawerence O'Donnell at the moment.
I am still dumbfounded Kathryn Harrold married this guy.

Way too much drum machine or what sounds too much like drum machine in both songs. 80's music was great but way too much drum machine.
