Yeah, the exit polls are actually looking fine. Democrats will lose a lot of seats, but it doesn't look like a 60+ House and 9+ Senate type of victory for Republicans. I'm thinking 50-55 in the House and +7 for the Senate, which could be considered a moral victory for Democrats.

Lincoln loses in Arkansas, because she did a variety of things that upset progressive/liberals. O'Donnell pretends to be astute and point out Manchin (WV) is perhaps more centrist/Republican lite. He does not discuss the differences in Arkansas and W. Virginia. He does not mention the numerous broken promises of Blanche Lincoln during her career in the Senate, nor the numerous obstacles she placed in getting legislation up for a vote.

I am sure Manchin it way too conservative for my tastes, but compare his speech to Rand Paul's. He thanks his supporters profusely, and seems quite genuine. Even if Manchin is faking it, he could be a player on the national scene. Since, he is already 63, it is difficult to see him running for President and being from W.V an unlikely V.P. choice.
