North Carolina is pretty close so far. Romney only has a >20,000 lead.

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Is there any website that shows the polling results by polling location (the exact place/building one voted)? I would be interested to see how few voted Democratic where I live...

If NC stays that close that isn't too good for Romney.

Hopefully somebody has a better site, but this is the Los Angeles Times Data Desk. They are decidedly slow when compared to the Network projections, but they are sure. You can try clicking on the President by county inner-tab for the national vote by county, if that helps: http://graphics.latimes.com/2012-electi ... map/#state

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Florida is going back and forth and will go down to the wire, another troubling sign for Romney.

Florida looks like 2008 in that way but still could go either way.

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
What is going on in VA? CNN's numbers don't add up. It has Richmond with more votes with 6% of the precincts than 100% in 2008, and it has Romney with more votes than Obama got when all precincts reported in the last election.

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Richmond and Norfolk have not reported any numbers yet, so I don't know what kind of glitch #s CNN are reporting. Obama looks in trouble so far with the numbers released and the exit polling, but he will get huge numbers in many of the precints yet to report. Will it be enough?

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Based on CNN, CBS and NBC (online) the electoral count right now...
Obama: 79 - Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Illinois, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C. Romney: 82 - Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Oklahoma
CBS has it 88-78, but I'm not sure where Romney gets the extra six.

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Virginia looks like it's going red. Florida looks blue, which means Romney's only hope is swinging PA to counter balance.

Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Yep, there it is. Arkansas wasn't marked in red initially.
Romney: 88 Obama: 78
Florida and especially Ohio are looking good for Obama though.

It looks like Romney is carrying Virginia without much competition. The first real surprise for the night.
