Post Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
Biden ends his term with his most Trump-like move yet in pardoning a criminal. This is the third time he has disappointed me, the other two being running for a second term and the Afghan debacle. This is at least understandable from a human perspective as he is just protecting his son. But it is an abuse of power that you would expect from Trump, but not Biden.

Of course this does highlight the difference between Republicans and Democrats as Republicans would be jumping over couches to defend Trump when he did this several times and promises to do with the Jan 6ers, but rightfully Democrats have called out Biden.

I’ve seen mostly liberals supporting this move, saying it’s what Trump would do.

Biden goes down as the Bush Sr. of the Democrats.

How are we losing California 13th when we won every county in the District in the presidential election?

He finished his term though and was defeated by Clinton. Also, their field appears wide open for 2028. Unless maybe Kamala runs again. I kind of doubt she would get the nomination again though.

Or no, technically over a month.

Makes me think of what the anniversary of January 6th will be like.

Edit: lol
