That's a huge bummer. And not even just for Marvel. Kang and all his variants would be easy to recast. But Majors was on the verge of being a star. And while the next generation of A-list actresses looks very promising, the males are all basically just the Harry Styles/Chalamet metrosexual types. Majors could have been Denzel in Arnold's body.

Two $170M+ movies leading the season and an expected Oscar contender later in the year with a starring role. Was on the cusp of mega stardom and so sad if proven to be true.

Ezra and Majors. Crazy how these two are such big anchors for the next wave of superhero movies for DC and MCU respectably but have allegedly done some awful things.

Sad circumstances but the recast of that role, an anchor for this phase of Marvel movies, steady work for the next 2-3 years and the potential for big $$$ will make Kang the most sought after role by Hollywood actors in as long as I can remember. Very intrigued who ends up getting it.

I like the idea of casting a smaller guy, like how Frieza's final form was smaller than the previous ones. I think Leslie Odom would be cool bringing some of those Aaron Burr-isms.

Majors was dropped today by his team. That's usually a bad sign but Marvel still hasn't said anything. He's still in the upcoming season of Loki so they seem to be waiting it out.

It makes sense now why Major's team dropped him out of the blue this week. Apparently multiple victims are cooperating with the DA. It's looking very difficult for him to come back to the MCU at this point.

And reading through it, I don't actually know what he's being charged with exactly, but they both seem pretty messed up. Seems like a case that's frankly a bit complicated, unlike Depp - Heard, where Heard seemed the more abusive one, it appears pretty even in this case.

It sounds like she found some cheating texts on his phone, and he tried to grab it and twisted her arm and hit her head with her arm. Then after getting the phone she chased after him (trying to get it back?). She went to the club after, went home drunk and took sleeping pills, then Majors found her unconscious and was worried about it being from the injuries and called 9-1-1. The girl was probably not interested in covering it up cause he just cheated on her. They ended up charging him with “3rd degree” assault which is kind of unintentional assault I think.

Not sure about Kang but feel like he should be allowed to get a second chance after this instead of giving him the same punishment as if he just decided to beat the crap out of his girlfriend .

You talk about second chances but that really has nothing to do with. Majors is no longer able to market the movie, no longer able to promote it without tying it into this incident. The value he adds to the movie is a negative number.

If the incident really wasn't that bad he will build himself back up in the indie scene.

Marvel just dropped him.

So...recast or reset is the question.

When I say second chance I don't necessarily mean Marvel, it makes sense Disney brand would wash their hands.

They should absolutely treat Loki season 2 as the end of kang and pivot to Dr. Doom.
