Only Disney, Universal, and Paramount are doing them this year, as the price has gone up for $4 million per 30 seconds. There might be a couple pre game ones as they are not billed the same amount. Here are the confirmed:

World War Z (30 Seconds)
Star Trek into Darkness (30 Seconds)
Fast and Furious 6 (30 Seconds)
Oz the Great and Powerful (No set length)
Iron Man 3 (60 Seconds)
The Lone Ranger (90 Seconds)

Kind of a waste of money for The Lone Ranger if you ask me. 4 Trailers will be way too much desperate marketing, for a film still 5 months away.

It would be a solid investment for G.I. Joe and Oblivion, in my opinion.

Fast and Furious is smart, I mean no trailer yet. Superbowl is guaranteed to be see by 100 million people at least, will gain momentum fast.

I think with GI Joe, they're at this point ready to just count there losses.

I think biggest missed opportunity would be a teaser for Hangover III, or Man of Steel, or The Wolverine.

G.I. Joe had one last year. But yeah, I agree it could benefit from one again this year now.

These are all big Summer blockbusters. I think that The Tomb could benefit from a Superbowl spot because it's targeting a different audience. But $4m per spot, that's a problem. Incredible amount for just 30 seconds.

Interested in Trek, IM3, and Lone Ranger, Fast 6 doesn't need the spot but it'll get me hyped.

Sony Pictures Classics should have had a Super Bowl spot for Amour ;).

I agree with Magnus, the spots are kinda useless now.

I don't know. I think it will benefit Fast Six. Will let people know it's coming. I imagine it will be trending a lot next week.

I think they still have their appeal,

I mean, granted back when Hulk was butchered by them and never recovered, it's now breaking records for most watched event of all time on a continuous basis. I think we're all just older now, and that the idea is not as novel as it once was to us. For a lot of people this still will be the first time they see anything for Iron Man or Star Trek

Wolverine and Man of Steel don't need them so they are smart not doing it. Really the days are gone where teasers for ID4 made a huge difference.

I dunno, I think a good TV spot played for more than 100 million viewers at once still matters. Hopefully Fast & Furious 6 delivers, it has the potential to make more than $100 million in its first four days.

The Lone Ranger is setting itself up well to become this year's John Carter/Battleship.

At least it doesn't star Taylor Kitsch.

it's just too high risk IMO. I think it's really hard to have an impact with SB commericals because people's expectations are way too damn high. If it's not anything less than great, people don't care/remember.

granted, if it hits, it is easily worth more than 4m.

Well, sometime sthe spots are great.

I still remember 2003...the best year for Superbowl movie spots ever, excluding The Hulk.

I agree. I think it can definitely be worth it. And it's not like people don't pay attention to the ads. Hell, I know many people, myself included, who don't pay attention to the game but do the ads. Of course I don't usually watch at all, but have with friends.

Disagree...

Avengers SB spot really got the hype going for that film among the General audiences when we saw all the hero's together in a circle.

Fast 6 will make over 100m in three days

And The Lone Ranger is headed for lots of $money$ :shades:

WWZ spot is now online. Looks pretty solid, much better than the trailer.

Now they are reporting Snitch will have one, most likely during the PreGame.

It looks ... exactly... the same as the trailer. And I agree with one of the ComingSoon.net comments; It looks like the prequel to I Am Legend.

oh, there is nothing new in it, but I actually think it works better because it's tighter. No real sense of what is actually going on.

Just makes it forgettable. Another comment also stated that people that haven't read the book will have no idea what's going on, to them it might just look like fast humans, not zombies. Interesting. Perhaps that's what they wanted.

I've seen the leaked version of the Furious 6 superbowl ad a couple of days ago and I have no problem believing it will go over like gangbusters. It looked fucking FIERCE.
