Apparently after reshoots this cost 320 mil. I refuse to believe that

Snow White's trailers will probably have some summer ones they haven't been able to put in front of anything.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch
Yeah that trailer is exactly what its core audience wanted to see. Going to be a multi quadrant mega blockbuster.

The old guy/young guy move is an oldie but a goodie, I'll take it.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Lilo & Stitch looks cheap. Looks like a Sonic rip-off. I think this will do badly.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Happy aging that much shows how long it's been, I mean damn 29 years, only 7 less than Maverick. But leaning into it could be a decent idea.
Freakier Friday having the extra kids seems annoying.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Freakier Friday feels like it should be a Netflix experiment rather than a theatrical release.

Count Freakier Friday out of the $100m club. Looks terrible and cheap.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Happy Gilmore 2 would be Sander's biggest box office smash by far if it got a theatrical release. Easily a $70M+ OW.
Freaky Friday 2 looks lame but will probably connect with 2000s nostalgia fans and its Lohan's first big theatrical movie in a long time backed by Disney. I think it will do a lot better than this trailer looks.

Looks like one of the least interesting Pixar ideas ever.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Maybe Pixar have run out of creative juice. A lot of their recent original movies seem alike.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Teaser is nice, gives me a Hell or High Water / No Country for Old Men vibe. With that said, looks more like a 60-80m grosser than a +100m one.

Re: The New Trailers Thread - Lilo & Stitch/F1
Hmm. Doesn't give me any of those vibes. It gives me more an Inherent Vice vibe. This director just doesn't know how to do a Hell or High Water / No Country for Old Men.
I'm afraid it's not going to be a huge grosser. Well, I never underestimate Leonardo. His name has some pull. But the director has worked with Tom Cruise once and Daniel Day-Lewis twice, and only managed to bring in $21 million, $22 million, and $40 million with those three projects.
Honestly, a good result for it would be $50m.

Feel like Fahy from White Lotus has a good look for movie career breakout.

I was tempted to pick The Drop but went for Companion instead. Bad move.
