Anyone seen it yet? Would a person who never saw the show (me) like it? I've heard enough good things to have me interested... |

So I went ahead and saw it... It was great. This is the best example of it's type of humor since Airplane. The funniest film thus far this year, easily. There were moments where I literally was laughing until my stomach hurt (the entire teacher lounge segment was one). |

Saw this tonight and laughed my ass off! I've also never seen the TV series, but didn't find that a handicap in the least to get into this comedy gem - though, now I gotta see the series on DVD, and SOON! Amy Sedaris is just freakin' hilarious (...and I do mean freakin'!) I'm trying to think of a funnier movie this year, but no luck -- this ones the winner! 7 out of 5. |

I'll likely be seeing this Friday. It's coming to my theater this weekend. |

I hate the character. A lot. I am fairly confident that the only good part of this movie is going to be Stephen Colbert. And from all the clips and promos I've seen, looks like Im right. I am also fairly confident that he isn't going to be in the movie enough for me to go see it. |

Colbert was actually kinda funny, which is amazing considering how irritating he is on his ill-considered Daily Show spin-off. But he certainly doesn't standout amongst the many other great supporting characters. Beyond Sedaris' wacked out brilliance, the real star of the movie was the cracklingly great writing - I'm going to have to see it again, just to hear the many lines of dialogue I missed because of the audience's gales of hysterical laughter... |

I saw a few episodes of the TV series when it was on. I always kind of wondered why they would make a movie out of it, but if makeshift and bradley can agree on it, it may be worth seeing. I will wait til DVD however. |
