Probably gonna see American Fiction today and would also like to rewatch Poor Things... and I guess I'll force myself to watch Maestro lol. Anatomy and Zone I'll watch in the coming weeks.

Oppenheimer Poor Things
-incredible movies that deserve all the praise
Barbie Flower Moon Holdovers
-maybe not in my top ten but they are good films.
Maestro

Past Lives Anatomy of a Fall American Fiction
-I might watch these
The Zone of Interest
-I swore off watching movies about either the holocaust or slavery so sorry ZOI but not gonna be able to do it.

Re: Rank the 2024 Best Picture nominees
Got to three more films before the show.
5 1. Oppenheimer
4 2. The Holdovers 3. Poor Things
3.5 4. Barbie 5. American Fiction 6. Killers of the Flower Moon 7. Anatomy of a Fall 8. Past Lives
I'll get to Maestro in the next day or two and I'll see The Zone of Interest when it's available to rent or if it gets a small re-expansion after the two wins tonight. My local theater weirdly got The Teacher's Lounge for a week instead of TZOI.

You can wait another few weeks and get it on Max for free. I'd have Past Lives as 6th on my list, second to last yes, but there is still a pacific ocean size gap of quality between it and the cinematic abomination known as Maestro.
