Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
The Brutalist got killed, it couldn't even get Pearce.

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
Brody just isn't like Renee who got re-embraced by Hollywood 20 years after her last win.
The Demi train to a win continues!

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
Hollywood is more schmaltzy than the British so I could see why the Brutalist was passed up

All of a sudden Best Actor is the most uncertain race of the 4.

I’m leaning towards Anora, Brody and Moore.

Interesting...
Kinda hope Ariana randomly wins. Her and Timothee winning in the same night would be huge

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
There have been sag and golden globe losers that lost the Oscar, but don’t know of anyone who lost sag, bafta and globe that won Oscar.
Edit : Russell Crowe for A Beautiful Mind and Eddie Murphy for Dreamgirls.
Maybe Karla can have a Norbit affect on Saldana.

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
BAFTA are less into racial politics so if Saldana even won there she's probably got it.

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
I liked Conclave, but having dirt leaked out about every other best picture candidate except for Conclave is a little too close to what actually happens in the movie lol.
Still thinking Anora takes all 4 of Picture, Directing, Actress and Writing.

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
I wonder with the pope being in the news the last week is affecting Conclave's chances positively too.

Re: Screen Actors Guild Nominees 2025
What if, instead of winning best actress, Karla ended up as the new pope? What a twist that would be.
