Wow...their Best Picture picks surely are not mainstream

Morgan Freeman not nominated for Million Dollar Baby... :?

Thruman and Carradine both nominated.

Oh and nice to see extra support for Cheadle :)

I love these nominations! Eternal Sunshine everywhere, Cate Blanchett nomination, Uma Thurman nomination, Bryce Dallas Howard nomination. It's great.

PEACE, Mike ;)

I'd prefer to see The Aviator in BP, especially since they seem to love it in other categories, but other than that, some great nominations. Only 2 out of 5 BP/BD match. Sharon Warren is rising, but I still have Kate Winslet as No. 5 in supporting actress. Jamie Foxx is pretty much a lock for a double nomination when an unconventional critic group is doing the same as the mainstream ones.

I just noticed that Benning was snubbed...

I'm happy to see the inclusion of The Aviator, Kill Bill Volume 2 and House of Flying Daggers in the technical categories. Also, a big thumbs up to the screenplay nomination for Tarantino and recognizing the spectacular breakout performance of Bryce Dallas Howard in The Village.

Yes!

Honestly, I really really disliked The Villahe, but Howard was great.
