No snubs I'm upset about. Would have liked Pamela Anderson to get in over Karla though.

I would have said ACU was a sleeper to win now if it got editing but maybe they still like Conclave more it's just its directing was seen as "boring".

Total nominations

Emilia Perez - 13
The Brutalist - 10
Wicked - 10
A Complete Unknown - 8
Conclave - 8
Anora - 6
Dune 2 - 5
The Substance - 5

Emilia Perez was a Gomez nomination away from tying the record.

I think Dune should have gotten director and editing, otherwise I guess it is good

The academy definiely decided to use these nominations to rebel against Trump as I always worried they would ... but it doesn't seem like he cares too much. If they can't even get an anti-trans tweet out of him then is there really any point in continuing forward on this path?

The decline in film quality (especially those being nominated) has declined markedly over the last 10-15 years (bar a few bright spots)

Denis Villeneuve (again) and Jon M. Chu directing SNUB is a travesty!
