Bummer, I like the Globes. Though HFPA does seem shitty, it is fun watching drunk celebrities try to walk around in their hundred-thousand dollar outfits.

Good. The Golden globes have been unable to remain relevant in the culture, maybe this will be a wake up call to the Oscars.

Can they just add some categories to the Screen Actors Guild and make it #2/the one where celebs get to be drunk? Why can't the Actors guild just vote on Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, Editing, etc.?

Prior to this year their ratings had been more stable than the Oscars, though.
