This is, of course, a very silly movie. Let's be clear on that. For the most part it isn't funny, and this isn't anybody's finest hour, particularly people that I hold in high regard like Pierce Brosnan, but the film does have its moments. The comedy isn't bad per se, and its generally better early on when it doesn't center on heists and killers, and Adam DeVine just is not funny. I'm not a DeVine fan, and he does nothing here to change my mind. There are, however, some quirky characters that make it interesting such as Gary the bank clerk, the head of a rival bank played by Lauren Lapkus, and a mob queenpin played by Poorna Jagannathan. Parker's parents, played by Julie Hagerty and the ever-reliable Richard Kind, are also excellent. Nina Dobrev offers little to the film, which was to be expected, and Ellen Barkin needs to fire her plastic surgeon. If you want a 90-minute R-rated fun comedy, it can't hurt to check out The Out-Laws.
