Quote:
Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and is the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the film, Parker asks Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret again with magic but it breaks open the multiverse and allows five supervillains from alternate realities to enter Parker's universe.

No Way Home was released in the United States on December 17, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.

Its a snippet from Wiki. I don't understand why that is a spoiler for this movie anymore but anyways...

Not a criticism against you at all, I just know that fans of the franchise have been blocking spoilers left and right on social media until its release date. Obviously I'm not one of those fans ;)

I understand Cory that's why I still ended up adding spoiler tag. We have been very strict in pushing spoilers in this forum so it's better that is followed.

Anything I write here will be spoilers because the movie is one big giant pile of spoilers. The magic stuffs is not handled well but damn there are some really really great things in here. The fight in trailers has so much more but there isn't a great one like Spiderman 2. Watts does a great job in maturing the character and there are some important losses in the film.

Sit tight till end of the show (Flava'd hold your excretions)because there's final post-credit scenes that's crazy and serves as trailer for upcoming Doctor Strange. Mid-credits also sets up something. As I said anything I write will be spoilers at this point as the movie had tons.

Great but not as great as first two original entries with Tobey.

A

Yeah this is pretty great. It’s better than the previous Spidey films bar the first two Raimi films but it’s completely satisfying more as a Spidey saga film than yet another MCU entry wfuch is a good thing.

EDIT - it's certainly up there with the first two. Feels like a perfect extension of those.

Grade : A

Marvel has done it again. I can't believe it. Holland and Zendaya have to be the 2 biggest stars of their generation, they're magnificent and Zendaya is just stunningly beautiful even as in MJ style. The guy who plays Ned, Marissa Tomeo and the villains all do well.

Also, Andrew Garfield is such a better actor than Tobey McGuire, LMAO that was awkward

This was absolutely spectacular. Really works best as a cap to the whole Spider-Man IP rather than a trilogy closer for Holland, as many emotional beats wouldn’t work without having seen the Maguire and Garfield films. But it was just so exciting. Seeing the 3 spider men fight together gave me chills.

Was anyone else expecting Dr Strange to be Mysterio? I'm glad they didn't go that way, and definitely glad they didn't do an "it was a dream" twist. I just thought there were alot of clues setting up. Strange doing a wreckless spell for the sake of sentimentality, Mysterio being mentioned constantly, reminding us that Nick Fury wasn't actually Nick Fury in Far From Home, Ned learning the sling ring so quickly and most importantly - there were five villains when everyone knows there ought to be six. But again, glad they didn't do that since it would have felt cheap and Norman was fine as the final boss.

Most comic book films fizzle in the last act but this one certainly didnt.

What was also great is that this packed so much in yet never felt overstuffed. Certainly managed to avoid the pitfalls of films like Spidey 3, Batman 4, etc.

Yes - have to say I agree on what you said in that spoiler. Just felt more comfortable.

I’m hesitant to get too excited about this considering it’s mostly good as a tie in to past Spider Man movies, but the story it tells on its own was full of heart and emotion as well.

It’s hands down the best MCU film outside of A:IW and A:E though.

They should've had a post credit scene where Maguire Spiderman cleans out the other two Spidermans in poker
