A classic that made Tom Cruise a star. Some of you younger guys who haven't seen this should watch it. Who hasn't misbehaved when their parents were out of town. But who ever opened a whorehouse in their house? My grade: A-.

Re: Risky Business
Watching Tom Cruise go from a nerdy virgin to full pimp in real time makes this one of the most 80s movies of the 80s. It was pretty interesting. You can see how it influenced so many comedies that came after it (and not just the scenes directly taken by Ferris Buehler.) Rebecca De Mornay is gorgeous enough to believe that one might turn their home into a brothel just to impress her. And the music is great, too intense to make this a full comedy but never sinister enough to make one feel uncomfortable. Reminded me a lot of Into The Night, though I still prefer that one a lot more.
I'll give this a B.
