This is a wonderful piece from Kubrick. With such wacky comedy and strong acting, you can't help but not have fun with this joyride. It's thrilling from start to finish and its a shame that Kubrick didn't do more in the comedy department. It's one of the best examples of a satire out there and Peter Sellers really shines. One of the best comedies out there. **** (A)

There is little point in adding to the chorus of supporters, but I suppose I shall nonetheless. The second best film by Stanley Kubrick of those I've seen, trailing only the masterful 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Happened to decide to watch this for the first time today. Brilliant film, very good satire with an excellent cast and absolutely impressive how it holds up in terms of storytelling and suspense. It simply is still relevant in quality to this day. Great score and camerawork too, easily one my favorite pre-80s films for sure.
