 Snow White  Quote: Snow White is a 2025 American musical fantasy film directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson. Re: Snow White It’s both a half baked version of the 1937 film, and a half baked loosely inspired by Snow White movie about a girl who Teams up with a group of bandits to take back a kingdom. Clearly the dwarfs were added after the backlash to the bandit photo, and the film feels very disjointed as a result. The most entertaining parts are the parts that recreate the original film. The film’s original material is extremely shallow surface level and uninteresting.
Best part of the movie was Gal Gadot’s scenes.

Re: Snow White Rachel Zegler is good. Her first song is good.
The movie overall feels weirdly cheap? Strange how grand the visuals of Snow White and the Huntsman feel compared to this, kind of want to rewatch it. Gal Gadot is truly awful. Whoever cast her... I don't even know. This is probably one of the weaker live actions, with some tweaks and better care this could have been good.

Re: Snow White I think she was good in Wonder Woman 1. Guess that was just the right role for her. Truly do not know what the process was in hiring her or seeing her takes and thinking they were good in here... they could've hired an actor that sings, there's many... lol

Re: Snow White Well, they probably wanted a name to play the Evil Queen, and whoever they choose needs to be older and less attractive than Zegler. Gadot is plain as fuck, too tall for a female, body like a wardrobe, and fifteen years older than Zegler. She's at that age where she can easily portray bitterness towards a younger, prettier woman.
Gadot was also probably cheap to hire. Cheaper than a name that can actually sing.

Re: Snow White Rachel Zegler was great and I did appreciate that this at least was mostly original songs as opposed to these remakes usually just being beat for beat retreads of the original. I also liked the visual aspects. The movie was surprisingly pretty boring though and Gal Gadot was not doing it here though seemed to be having fun at least. I liked it more than Little Mermaid but definitely not as good as some of the earlier ones. C
