Will start by saying that I think its best to go into the movie knowing as little as possible. Cannot recommend it enough.



What a wild ride of a film. Starts hot and never lets go. Can't remember ever having my loyalties shift so much, but the non-linear story is edited so perfectly the little tidbits you get are thrilling even if what you think you're seeing isn't actually whats happening. The surrealist and dreamlike vibe really add to the untrustworthy narrator angle too, usually best used in novels yet wielder ever so brilliantly here. And it wouldn't work without an ace performance from Willa Fitzgerald and she delivers spectaculary. Will almost certainly be getting my vote at the oscars (if I had one.)

Strange Darling fully earns a 10/10. Will be watching it again and likely will join my Spooky Season rotation from here on out.
