There has yet to be a film in this franchise that does anything besides retread the first movie. |

Dailies are very good again for KFP4 with Easter Break. Managed an 8% drop on Tuesday ($2.7M). Ghostbusters $4.3M which isn't that far off from it's predecessor's Tuesday pre-Thanksgiving. Dune was at $2.2M (-32%). Box office is fairly healthy and we still got Godzilla/Kong coming. Still think that Godzilla Minus One goodwill will help somehow with buzz so hoping for a big overperformance. |

Wed #'s 1 Ghostbusters $2,837,907 $55,015,782 2 KFP4 $2,014,750 +7% $139,338,605 3 Dune 2 $1,927,213 -31% $239,383,160 Even if impacted by Spring Break / Easter, KFP4 is cleaning up. PTA is up 14%. Should have a fairly sizable total by Monday. Will be past KFP3 by Friday ($143,528,619) and KFP2 by late next week ($165,249,063). Pretty impressive for an $85M budget film. |
