Catching Fire was down 74%same day in its run. Mockingjay Part 2 was down 73%. Mockingjay Part 1 was down 74%
Looks like a drop in the 50’s is likely rather than the 60s.

Re: December 1-3 Predictions Marvels' demise resulted in The Hunger Games' rise!  Mockingjay 2 made $281,723,902 in 2015 from a $160M budget. $68.9M marketing budget. HG could do $160M domestic this time around from a $100M budget. Some estimates I saw online mentioned a marketing budget of $65M-100M but I think given the strike it didn't reach that level. Taking out overseas and marketing budgets since about the same, MJ2's gross to budget ratio was 1.761. HG would be at 1.6X if it finishes at $160M. $176.1M and it'd be at MJ2's ratio. This very much feels like a successful franchise re-launch like Batman Begins post Batman and Robin. Good job Lionsgate! Managing expectations with lean budgets pays off when quality is involved.

Re: December 1-3 Predictions Its still only gonna make like half of the worst performing one with Jlaw so lets not get too excited. If Wonka really is like Paddington 2 then it should takeover as the movie of the moment. My $28M prediction for Beyonce already looking too high. The showings around here are doing well but it has so many fewer than Eras. Probably closer to $18M now. I totally thought Godzilla Minus One was anime. Oops. Gonna see Saltburn next Tuesday I think. I like that the reception is so mixed. The original premise sounded meh though I still would have watched it at home since I loved PYW.

Re: December 1-3 Predictions HG's dailies have been i'd argue it's most impressive #'s of its run so far!
It's significantly closing the gap with CF's dailies and I'm projecting a $16.172M 3rd weekend (-44.31%), which is if the dailies follow CF's 3rd weekend pattern. If Renaissance does underwhelm there's a slight chance HG pulls 3 weekends in a row (outside chance for next week's movies don't cause a dent).
