Speed feels on the sort of fan level as something like Constantine now. I hear that being brought up more so. But he's made tons of iconic films. Devil's Advocate and Johnny Mnemonic are two other landmark films for him. He sure was lucky John Wick came along. The greats need at least two big franchises. Arnie has Terminator and Conan. Stallone has Rocky, Rambo, and The Expendables. Bruce has Die Hard and a mix of RED, Sin City, and Unbreakable. Mel has Mad Max and Lethal Weapon. Keanu's now at their level. |

Fury of the Gods $680,000 -60% 4,071 $167 $46,627,417 Rough estimate it could be at $53M by the end of the weekend off of a 55% drop for a $4.2M weekend which may be optimistic. A 3X multiplier from there would take it to $61.4M. So there's a chance still it could miss $60M from a $30.1M opening. |

JW's internationally grosses are even more impressive than domestic. Going to be hard to not see a bunch of sequels with this level of growth. This one has a chance at $500M+. If the quality keeps up and as international audiences discover it could eventually become a $1B+ franchise a few iterations from now. Seems like reception is good and all the other John Wicks have had around 3x multiplier so it's very plausible to outgross Ant-Man domestically lol |
