Looks interesting. Could be too niche to break out, but a high teens opening and 50-60m total could be on the table. |

I'm a believer that this would be better suited to October. Anyway, that wasn't a good trailer. It should have focused more on Cage, and been shorter. The annoying group counselor guy and Awkwafina ruined the trailer. It feels about as commercial as Warm Bodies did (also coincidentally starring Hoult). But movies haven't been fulfilling potential in recent years, and I don't think we're out of that yet, so... ...$35m tops. |

I guess this is the year of "I'm gonna make a movie that resembles my favorite tv show but isn't actually part of the IP." 65 What We Do In The Shadows Is there a Succession type film coming up? Reviews are good though. |

Bad luck it’s opening against 2 other horror films. Either this or the Crowe film should open over 16 milllion. The Sean Patrick one should flop |

Early reactions are positive, so it seems like this should at least land in that Cocaine Bear range of quality. I don't think it'll open as high as that did, but it's opening on a good relatively empty weekend and I think older audiences will be in the mood for a genre-y comedy. $15M/$40M opening/total sounds about right, exactly at the mid-range of Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and Cocaine Bear. |

Yeah it’s nice to see cage getting consistency in better reviews and some minor mainstream resurgence. Hopefully they can get National treasure back on the burner |
