Yeah, some similar vibes. I expect a similar box office after inflation, 50-60m.

Not seen that one. Not even heard of it. There's only one Driven in my eyes, lol.

Two of Flava'd's picks are out on Friday (Plane and House Party) but I doubt their totals reach the opening weekend of M3GAN.

This actually looks pretty good. A coming-of-age comedy/drama for girls. I cannot, off the top of my head, think of another. It felt quite a novel idea watching the trailer. And Rachel McAdams looks gorgeous as always. I think this is a really good Round 7 pick. Wouldn't be surprised if it wins the round.

It's based on a classic childrens novel. Can't imagine it does more than 30-40m based on recent precedents, but we'll see.

I feel that would be more than enough to win Round 7.

Distant finally removed from the schedule. Corpse may pick a replacement.

Also, Winnie the Pooh has been announced will only get a one night theatrical release. Do we think it is fair to include this in the game or should it be given a chance to be replaced as well?

Shack's Champions moves away from the sights of John Wick and into the gaze of Ghostface.

Can you start sharing where you hear this news? because you've mentioned a few times about schedule changes and I can never find any proof.

But on Distant's Wikipedia page it still says January in cinemas.

Ok, well if you want him to wait until the 27th arrives and Distant is nowhere to be seen, then i guess we can. But all signs point to it not actually opening that day

Oh, I agree. It looks like it's not coming out, there's just nothing official.

Plane was a good pick. House Party not so much.

Also, I liked the mid-year replacement draft last year. Probably too late to change the rules but I'd prefer that to instantly replacing our shitty late round picks with real movies.

Universal has been doing pretty well theatrically lately so I wonder what the issue is with Distant. Be one thing if it was a STX or Lionsgate release.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is scheduled to be theatrically released on February 15, 2023 by Jagged Edge Productions, the film company that produced the film in collaboration with ITN Studios, for a one-night event through Fathom Events, Altitude Film Distribution, Cineplex Entertainment, and Cinemex.[7] Around the same time, the film is also set for a large cinematic release in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Where'd you copy that from? Everything I can find says it used to be a one-night thing but now it's expanded to a longer release.

With just a month remaining until the film hits the big screens, Fathom Events has revealed that Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey's theatrical release is getting a major expansion. Initially slated for a one-night release on February 15, the ticketing website now reveals that the horror twist on the iconic childhood character will be showing from February 15-23 in over 1,500 theaters nationwide. Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt wrote about the theatrical release's expansion in the following statement:

This film has been on our radar for several months and audience engagement continues to increase at remarkable rates. We’re excited about our inaugural partnership with ITN to bring horror fans something never seen before in the horror genre. Buckle up.
