Re: September 9-11 Predictions
Easily. I expect it to make over $15 million.

Barbarian - 6-8 Million
I believe tracking is in the low single digits. Also theater count is an estimated 2,200. Not sure why it's not more considering theaters don't have much else. Sadly even an opening of 4 Million would be enough to win the weekend.

Re: September 9-11 Predictions
I really hope Barbarian is good. My AMC pass renews on the 20th and I've only used it once this month on Beast. I'd use it on Woman King, but will be out of town that weekend and have to save it for the next months cycle.
I don't even know what Brahmastra is. Is it gonna be like RRR? That movie was pretty good.

Heard it's best to go in blind as there's lots of twists and turns apparently

I had no idea it was written and directed by Zach from Whitest Kids U Know. That makes it a must see now!

Re: September 9-11 Predictions
Would Pinnochio have been over/under $30M this weekend? I think slightly over but there wouldn't have been a ton of demand, especially with Del Toro having another version coming up.

Re: September 9-11 Predictions
Nobody will care about Del Toro's version. It will quietly land on Netflix with no fanfare. I think the Tom Hanks version, if released in cinemas, would've opened to $35-45 million. I think it would have done really well with the right marketing push from Disney.

Re: September 9-11 Predictions
The original Pinocchio is a much better film than the original Dumbo. It probably would’ve done 50-60m, but I could’ve even seen it match Cinderellas 67m
Also Dumbo was hurt by coming out right after Captain Marvel and Us and right before Shazam and Endgame. Pinocchio would’ve had zero competition till Black Adam and since Super Pets
