So Bullet Train would have won the weekend even if Invitation flopped harder. Maverick is taking it back next weekend though.

Deadline reported it at $1.16M Friday. Still awful.

Rogue One re release is an Andor thing? Not bad considering it comes out in a month

If Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero drops 77%, as Deadline projects, that will be the worst second weekend drop for one of these surprise anime films. They very consistently drop by 68%. I wonder why this is different. Beast trailed it by $10 million last week, but this week it will be just $500k if Deadline is correct.

As for Top Gun: Maverick, I know it's been said a million times but it's still astonishing the holds this film puts up. I couldn't see $700 million before when others could, but now I can. It's going to beat Black Panther, too.

Unfortunately both the openers are a waste of space.

Turns out that with estimates Beast finished higher than Super Hero. Still, I doubt it ever catches its total box office.
