That’s a great number. Free Guy did 2.2 on its way to 33. I think 40+ is definitely in play.

Free Guys previews started at 7 pm while Bullet Train's previews started at 3 pm. Also the Rotten Tomatoes audience scores for Free Guy is 94% while Bullet Train's score is 83% (at over 100 verified reviews). Bullet Train will have an opening weekend under $40 million.

And Bullet Train's number includes Tuesday sneak previews. But still should do 30 Million or so this weekend and will have good legs.

That's a great start. There's literally nothing this month so it could get some great legs considering how well films appealing to older adults have done.

$12.6m Friday for Bullet Train. Hmm honestly with that Friday $30m might not happen. Still not a bad opening.

Bad drop for Nope after it didn't really plummet last weekend.

Same thing happened to Us. Decent second weekend drop but then just got rocked on the third weekend (and fourth too.) Though, in Us' defense, its third weekend had the $75M+ combo of Shazam and Pet Semetary. I doubt Bullet Train affected Nope all that much, aside from (maybe?) taking its big screens.

Great start for Bodies Bodies Bodies. $94,700 on Friday for a theater average of $15,794.

I was thinking that as well. The true Friday is just $8 million. I can't see it hitting $30 million with that, though it might be the sort of film to play better on Saturdays, though it's R-rated so probably not.

More or less the same as what Marcel the Shell with Shoes On did.

Better than that though. Same amount of theaters. Marcel had an opening weekend of $159,403 with an average of $26,567. BBB has an estimated weekend of $226,526 with an average of $37,754.

Lol nobody even posted about Bullet Train opening. 30m is just barely okay. Should've done at least 35m.

The openings are getting lower and lower as the weeks drag on, so if it can stay above $30 million it's decent.

Yesterday Box Office pro tweeted that Sunday's "estimated" opening weekend of Bullet Train is $30.1 million. For some reason Monday's estimated opening weekend is now $30.0 million. There goes the claim that Sony always underestimate their film's box office.
