This might miss 400m but sub 375m looks unlikely. Will finish with bare minimum 365m and that's if it plummeted from here. |

This film is proof that if you have a dinosaur movie and slap a Jurassic Park logo on it, people will show up. It's such a poorly made movie, yet it's flirting with $375 million. That said, I feel it will miss the mark and this club will be a success. Thor: Love and Thunder should hurt it this coming weekend, and I reckon it might also drop a fair few cinemas, too. It needs another $40 million coming off a $16 million fourth weekend. This weekend's 38% drop was buoyed by Monday being a holiday. Normally, it would have dropped 50% or thereabouts again, and I think it will return to that in its fifth weekend. |

It's going to be close. If it misses $375m it will be by only $2-3m. Solid summer weekdays may still help it get there though. It is true that these films can be terrible and still make good money. It's a shame they couldn't have signed off with a better film. I'd suggest a better director for the eventual return to the series. |
