The second weekend IMO was the most impressive of the entire TGM run. -28.9% drop following Memorial Day weekend? That's historically been one of the most frontloaded weekends to open so that weekend sealed the fate for a historically epic run. |

This is after its OW included almost 20m worth of previews. so its IM of previews to OW was not special. So it dropped in teens when you take out grosses before friday of its release. !!! |

Good point about Memorial Day. I suppose you could see such a feat after 4th of July. The other holidays no. Never happens for Thanksgiving. Labor Day is irrelevant. Soft drops after Christmas are sometimes expected. |
