Re: Don't Worry Darling Predictions
I saw Top Gun with my friend and his girlfriend last night and she was like, "Are you following the Venice Film Festival?" And I was like, "Yeah. Are you talking about Don't Worry Darling?" And she was like, "Yes." Then we talked about it. She said it was all over her feed that morning and she watched all of the videos. I guess the drama really is reaching more people than I thought it would. I was thinking it was just going to be everyone on Twitter and people outside of the internet wouldn't know about it. Maybe, just maybe, this drama will help it.

Yeah, only tickets are on sale for the early Imax screening with a q and a (lolol) and my local theater is pretty full. Think this has potential to still open pretty well in spite of bad press.

Re: Don't Worry Darling Predictions
Bad press/buzz followed by good buzz can help a film awareness immensely. Titanic being the best example.
Here it should help a little - just a shame the film isn't getting better reviews.

I think America needs more celebrity drama, less political drama

Re: Don't Worry Darling Predictions
Forbes mentions 13,000 tickets sold for the IMAX events. Quote: Still, 13,000 tickets have been sold for the IMAX event, and they can’t all be die-hard Harry Styles fans.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmende ... cord-time/With an average ticket price of close to $20 for IMAX, that's already $250k-ish in previews.

Re: Don't Worry Darling Predictions
It's the fastest selling IMAX live event so far. Pretty crazy. I hope this carries over to regular ticket sales.

Re: Don't Worry Darling Predictions
Looks like the media shenanigans will help this one big time.
A $25-30m OW could be on the cards which would be remarkable.
